Services for Distance Seminary Students

Books by Mail

Brandel Library will ship books from our General Collection to distance seminary students.

To request a book, email us at library@northpark.edu.

  • Include the book's title, author, and publication date in your email.
  • The due date will be the end of the semester.
  • The library will pay for shipping the book to the student, but students are responsible for returning the item back to us.

Course Reserve and Reference books cannot be shipped.

Book Excerpt Scanning

Brandel Library will scan short excerpts of books in our Reference or General Collection for distance seminary students. Most requests are delivered within 3-5 business days.

To request an excerpt scan, complete the 'Article Request' form through our Interlibrary Loan service.

NOTE:
The page limit for requests varies by title, as the library adheres to U.S. Copyright laws governing fair use.

Book Reservation (Hold)

Email library@northpark.edu if you'd like for us to put a book on hold for you to pick up at Brandel Library.

This service is for distance seminary students who plan to make a special trip to the library but would like to ensure the material is available for them when they arrive.

Only material in our General Collection can be placed on hold. Course Reserve and Reference materials are first-come first-served.
