If you find an article in a database and there is no option to download a PDF, you will see this "Find Full Text" button instead.
Click on it to find out if the article is available in one of our databases.
If it's not available, you will have the option to order a copy via Interlibrary Loan. You will receive an email when the article is available.
Lists of references are a great place to find additional articles. If you see a citation that looks interesting, search for the title of the journal using the library's online journal search tool.
Combine keywords with AND to narrow your search.
medieval AND architecture
Combine keywords with OR to broaden your search. This works well for synonyms.
medieval OR Middle Ages
Put quotes around multiword searches to find only documents that contain those words as a phrase.
"liberal arts"
* (wildcard)
Use a * with the stem of a word to search for all forms of that word.
architect* searches for architect, architecture, architectural, etc.
