Supported Devices and Apps
iOS
Authorize an e-reading app
- Download Bluefire Reader from the app store.
- Open the app and go to Info.
- Click on the "Authorize" button. Enter your Adobe ID and password.
Transfer the e-book
- Connect your iPad/iPhone to your computer.
- In iTunes, select your device and go to Apps. Scroll down to find the section labeled "File Sharing," and select Bluefire Reader from the list of apps.
- Click Add to add an e-book. The file you need to add is not the .acsm file you downloaded. Instead, go to your Documents folder and look for a folder called My Digital Editions. Select the book you want to add.
- The book should now appear in Bluefire Reader. Be aware that once your checkout period has expired, you will no longer be able to open the book.
Android
Authorize an e-reading app
- Download Aldiko from Google Play.
- Open the app. When it prompts you for authorization, click "Authorize."
- Enter your Adobe ID credentials, or click on "Get Adobe ID.".
- When you download an e-book from EBSCO or EBL, Aldiko should open it automatically.
Other Supported E-Readers
